The Web-Design Challenge

SEAMEO SPAFA, Regional Centre for Archaeology and Fine Arts, is part of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), an international organization dedicated to promoting co-operation in education, science and culture in Southeast Asia.

They needed a site overhaul to accommodate frequent updates on various cultural projects, as well as a system for submitting articles for review. Registration for conferences also needed to be catered for.

The Idea

We decided to move the existing site over to WordPress as it is an easy CMS for multiple employees to learn and use. We also redesigned the site to be more user friendly and engaging.

Website Analysis

We analysed the trends for this industry and researched competitor strategies.

User Experience

We wanted to cater for a reasonbably high volume of upper LSM users.

UI Design

Minimalism and crisp, clean lines were the keywords during this phase.

Website Development

The site is beautifully responsive and displays perfectly on devices of all sizes.

The Result

The site is now reorganised, easier to use, better to look at and an all round improvement, and client is thrilled with how much easier the submission process is.
